Hamister Real Estate Equity Fund III, LP. (Fund III), a private real estate fund sponsored by Hamister Group, LLC, announced today the acquisition of Staybridge Suites University of Rochester, an IHG Hotel in Rochester, NY.
Hamister Group, LLC will manage the 88-room extended stay hotel located directly across from the University of Rochester and University of Rochester Medical Center campuses. The hotel opened in 2008 and features rooms with full kitchens. Amenities include a fitness room, indoor pool and spa, outdoor patio with a fire pit and 3,961 square feet of meeting space.

The Staybridge Suites University of Rochester will become the eleventh hotel in the company portfolio– the fourth in New York State. Hamister Group is no stranger to the Rochester market, having managed Heather Heights, LLC, an assisted living residence in Pittsford, NY since it opened in 1999.
