Daniel Hamister began his tenure with Hamister Group, LLC in 2001 after earning his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Union College. Rising swiftly through the ranks, he was promoted to Vice President within a year, showcasing his talent for innovation and leadership.

After a brief hiatus to earn his MBA from Babson College, Daniel returned to Hamister Group in 2007 as Senior Vice President of Business Development. In this role, he played a pivotal part in launching the company into the fund business alongside the former CFO, setting the stage for significant expansion.

Following the passing of Mark E. Hamister in August 2021, Daniel assumed the role of CEO three months ahead of schedule. Today, he continues to drive the company’s success with a strategic, forward-thinking approach, ensuring Hamister Group remains a leader in the industry.
