Hamister Group, LLC closes on Forest Hill Heights, LLC

Buffalo-based Hamister Group, LLC., through an affiliate Hamister Hospitality Fund, LP, has closed on Forest Hill Heights, LLC, formerly Rock Spring Village Assisted Living Community, in Forest Hill, Md., on Nov. 12. As it seeks to deploy the remaining capital in middle market hotels and senior housing properties, this is the first investment made by the Hamister Hospitality Fund, LP.

“We will make a significant investment into the property in order to improve the resident living experience,” said Mark Hamister, Chairman & CEO. “We will put our 38 years of senior care experience and industry leadership to work, making Forest Hill Heights an assisted living destination in the Baltimore area that has exceptional care and exceptional service.”

Hamister Group will now begin to redevelop and rebrand the 92 unit property, which was constructed in 1988. Extensive improvements will be made to the facility, including corridors and common areas, as well as resident rooms and bathrooms, and the nurses station will be decentralized, improving the efficiency and quality of care.
