MARK HAMISTER EARNS LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Mark Hamister, Chairman and CEO of Hamister Group, LLC will be presented the Buffalo 612’ Lifetime Achievement Award at a luncheon on October 4 at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens in Buffalo, NY. This will mark the inaugural year for the Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by Business First and sponsored by the Bonadio Group and Citizens Bank.

Hamister was selected because of his demonstrated business acumen, his emphasis on caring for customers and employees, and his commitment to Western New York. Mark is a very active member of the community and has served on multiple boards and civic organizations such as the Buffalo Schools Foundation, the Buffalo Niagara Partnership (former Chairman), and the Empire State Development Corporation (former Director).

Previous honors have included being named Entrepreneur of the Year for New York State (1992), Junior Achievement Hall of Fame Laureate (1999), and being named one of Western New York’s Most Influential Business Leaders (2012), among others. Hamister also supports various non - profits and charities including the Alzheimer’s Association, the Buffalo Zoo, the United Way, Shea’s Buffalo and Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

Recently, Hamister Group, LLC was named a Best Place to Work in Western New York, a Top Private Company in Western New York, and was listed on the Inc. 500/5000 Fastest Growing Companies report.
